screen printing

Today we had did an introduction on how to screen print.

First off we created an image on Photoshop in black and white.

once we have created the image we print it out on a sheet of A4 paper .

Then use a machine to copy the image in acetate after that we out the acetate on machine with the screen after that use the  machine that creates a vacuum

Then imprints the image on to the mesh when its on the mesh we wash it for 5 minutes to make the image clean

Then have it dry for 20 minutes in a drier.

we then set up the screens for printing by taping the border down then we put the screen so the mesh is facing down

and put ink across the top of the image then spread down with a squeegee to create the image

then we have to clean the work space after .
this was the final outcome I think that this was effective because even though it was made from the black and white temple I think it turned out better than the template because that the clearer

as a summary :

Design image black and white
print
acetate
exposer
screen
